Description: This stunning lamp features festive dragons. Research indicates that this is antique or vintage, of lacquered cinnabar. The lamp has a pull-switch that functions well. The carved details on this lamp are stunning. On two sides, a festive red dragon swirls its tail. The neck features a floral/plant design. The rest of the piece displays customary fine carving of this genre of lamp. On the underside, the base is blue and gold in distinct colors that are characteristic of this style. The main part measures 12 inches from base to top of neck. With the harp included, it reaches 21 inches tall. While this lamp is in generally good condition, there are parts that show sign of wear commensurate with its age. The harp and top metal fixture part show signs of wear, but function. The harp is fixed and a bit corroded; someone handy might know how to replace it. The part that holds the bulb needs to be tightened. All this being said, the main part of the piece is in good condition, and the pull chain and light mechanism function well. Finial and shade not included.
