Description: This is a unique, uncommon cover(w/some minor stains, and common creases) sent from the Austrian Lloyd Agency's Post Office in Smyrne(a pretty nice CDS), Ottoman Empire, to the Austrian Lloyd Agency's Post Office in Constantinople(a decent, but light/faded, and smudged CDS), Ottoman Empire, on July 9, 1870! The sender and addressee were both ethnic Greeks. It looks like it cost 18-Soldi(?; in blue pencil to send this cover). The mail arrived on July 11, 1870.
