Because it is quad-channel, platform memory bandwidth is > Ryzen and Core i5/i7/i9 CPUs using dual-channel DDR4 memory. The BIOS also includes tons of granular controlls for overclocking (e.g. set 1 core Turbo at 4.8 GHz, all cores at 4 Ghz, AVX2 at 2.8 GHz, etc.). Makes for an awesome home server given that it supports up to 256 GB of RAM with 8 * 32 GB ECC registered DIMMS. Features multiple full bandwidth PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for massive amounts of IO (e.g. multiple graphics cards, NVMe cards, 10 GbE/25 GbE networking, etc.). Has been well taken care of throughout its life in multiple roles as a desktop and home server. All components work as they did originally. Item has rugged "armor" (reinforcement metal and plastic) that physically protects it during use and shipping. This thing has been a highly durable workhorse for me for several years. I've no doubt it will work extremely well for many years to come. It's really a server-grade motherboard with added consumer features so it is both very capable and durable.
