She strives to convert the energy and inspiration from her experiences in deep snow, flowing water and the natural world surrounding her into every piece. While she is out adventuring, whether it is on a backyard hike or landing her plane on a glacier, she lets the inspiration come to her. When it does, she finds whatever she can to draw on – sketchbook, cardboard, old flight plan, and tries to record the feelings of the moment.
