Quality of wood:Depending on the models, but in general I pick only the best quality wood for materials: rosewood (cam lai) , Mun Ebony which is native only in Laos and Vietnam, and hardened high quality bamboo. The bamboo sticks will last up to 20+ years without bending. These are not after market Chinese cages that will warped or bend in 2-3 years, as with most cheap bamboo. About the seller: Sy Hoang have been collecting birds and crafting cages for 30+ years in Northern California. This is a lifetime passion and a one-man operation. He is just a simple family man with kids off to college and more time for hobby and bird cage crafting. He can communicate in basic English and this was written by his kids.
