Art Pottery Brown Drip Glaze Teapot with Lid Vtg 70's-80s Octagon Shape Tea Pot

Description: Art Pottery Brown Drip Glaze Teapot with Lid | Vintage 1970s - 1980s Two Tone Brown Tan Octagonal Shaped Tea Pot Cute little brown clay art pottery teapot with lid. Features an 8 sided 'octagonal' shape with a beautiful multi tone brown, beige, tan 'drip glaze' finish. This is an unmarked piece, so date and region of manufacture is unknown. This was an estate sale find in an auction lot with other items dated between the 1950s - 1980s. ]Approximate measurements: 6" tall with lid, 4 1/2" wide, 7 1/4" long from handle to tip of spout, and has approx 2 1/2" diameter rim opening Condition: Lovely vintage condition with only minor 'chipping' or glaze wear to the tip of the spout as shown in the photos (see picture #8). Otherwise only minimal surface wear here and there consistent with age and use. The little lid does not sit perfectly on the teapot - it is the lid that came with the teapot when I got it at an estate sale, and the underglaze seems to match the color of the clay pottery from the teapot, but it's never really sat nicely on the teapot. If placed gently it will sit nicely, but when moved at all it wants to shift off to the side, as shown in the last two pictures. Price is reflective of condition.
