Description: Up for sale is a used pair of Acoustic Research AR4ax speakers. The speakers have been fully refurbished, new grill cloth, new capacitors, replaced original speaker terminals with 5 way binding posts, new sealant has been applied to woofer surrounds, and the original potentiometers have been replaced with brand new ceramic potentiometers that match original specs(no longer available). Most of the replacement parts were sourced from Vintage-AR's store and other well know AR part vendors. The cabinets are in decent shape for their age, there are some surface scratches which you can see in the photos. One corner has a ding in it but is hard to see because it's on the back side. Both speakers are in fully working condition. These are for local pickup only, I'm located 1 hour south of Syracuse NY and 1 hour north of Binghamton NY.
