I have been told that cancels from a small city in Europe have the best value for the specialty collector. I assume this would be true in the U.S. too. So I use my local post office which is a cleaner. He has a cleaner post cancel machine. Then I use some kind of BETTER item for postage on each mailing. My customers LOVE my covers. Obviously some get damaged in the mail. Some do not get what you would call special postage. But most get a special something on the cover. Lastly, You will notice much variety in my offerings. I list items as a service to the hobby. Obviously I make nothing on selling items for a penny or even a dollar. But the new collector needs a starting point.
