Description: A superb & hard-to-find antique handmade Belgian Brussels Duchesse & Point de Gaze lace wreath ornament or applique in white... This listing is for 1 little wreath which features an elegant floral motif showcasing petite handmade Duchesse bobbin lace florets all around with a large bow along the top, and is finished off with a dimensional Point de Gaze lace floral insert centrally. It is useful for framing or for embellishing holiday ornaments, hats, apparel, pillows, lamp shades, picture frames, etc. Oval-shaped, measures overall with slight variation ~2&1/8 inches wide, ~3&1/8" long, and finished all around with slight differences in bow details/shape/length and Point de Gaze lace insert details. There are a total of 31 wreaths available for purchase, so there is slight variation in the overall width/length of each wreath and the overall shape/length/drape of the bows. Each little wreath is uniquely beautiful & slightly different. Though no two wreaths are identical, all are beautiful... In overall very good condition with occasional microscopic scraggly threads, very mild fraying mostly along the backside, occasional tiny breaks in the net, a rare tiny break/mend which is difficult to appreciate with the naked eye, and a rare small petal absent from the insert flower. Though none are noted, there may be a rare tiny light spot.
