Description: As is found in an important photographer’s estate in Clearwater Florida This photograph is not an original by our photographer but must have been passed down to him at some point in time. We have found that quite a few photographs ended up in his possession over his 70 years of being in downtown Clearwater. We have no way of knowing who took many of these original older photographs as many of them were not marked. I can also only estimate the date of this one to be early 1900s. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is what’s called an albumen print, there weren’t many in the estate. The paper it is printed on feels like linen Rare & Original - ONE OF A KIND PHOTO from a very important photographer’s estate in Clearwater Florida!! This is the only one of this image found in the estate. Measuresjust over 7x9” A COA from the estate will come with your purchase George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. A Navy enlisted official photographer during WW2 who afterwards, served the city of Clearwater for another 55 years until his passing in 2015. Aerial photographer for Pinellas County & so much more!! After cleaning out the 7000 sq ft combination residence & studio by the Clearwater courthouse in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering SOME of the best ones up for sale individually. As the estate gains recognition and momentum here, we will begin to list more and more, some in sets, and some for auction as well. Not everything will be sold. We just want to share his work & get it circulated & known. Much of the collection will remain with the curators to share later. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs, some possibly from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save, The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. FOLLOW US ON EBAY !!! This is quite a project for only two curators, so please follow us, and be patient as we slowly unveil the contents of this massive estate. And always, if you see something that you like, please make an offer!! Shipping will be by usps ground advantageunless otherwise requested.
