Description: Beautiful antique writing/lap desk. Made of solid wood it measures 11" long x 7 3/8" wide x 2 5/8" tall. Inside measures 9 3/4" long 6 1/4" wide x 1 7/8" tall. Storage spaces are 4 1/2" long x 1 5/8" wide and 1 5/8" square for the ink well. Sides are 3/8" thick wood and assembled using a half blind lap joint. No key for the lock. Refinished with Satin MinWax Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. Rubber feet on bottom for ease of handling and to protect your furniture. New dark blue velvet on the inside. Original hardware. Very Fast Handling!
