Description: These are a set of 2 antique Rogers Bro silverplate serving spoons with a script mono. Serving spoon Measurements: 8 1/8" Condition: Please review the photos. Overall, good however, I saw a couple of silverplate loss in the way of pitting dots on the front of the spoon. There is also some heel wear to the back of the serving spoons from where they would rest on the table. The pattern is Columbia, a pattern from the 1847 Rogers Bros company. The design is an ornate, stylized dolphin and the pattern was introduced in 1893. The Columbia dolphin has a dragon-like tongue and the tail wraps around the handle on the pieces of silverware. This pattern was made for approximately 20 years. There were several silverplate companies that carried this pattern International Silver, Rogers and Bros, Rogers 1847 and there may be subtle variations in the definition of the pattern. SIL-4
