Description: See photos. This is from a primitive collection. About 3.5 x 3 1/4 overall. Signs of wear. I believe the silhouette is older than the case, but I don’t know. I am not sure what the silhouette is painted on. It could be metal. Looks too smooth to be wood. I don’t think it is paper. Someone, not the artist, I am sure, added some gold trim, now worn, to the case. I have not taken it apart. I have been tempted, but I am leaving it alone. The glass is dirty. You get the loose top that does not match the bottom. I am no expert. I just like antique portraits.
