Description: Antique Phoenix Consolidated Glass Lamp Base Birds & Berries W Fittings Matte. Beautiful sculptured glass lamp base without the fixture - for restoration. The original fixture stood above the base with bulbs and a shade. The footed base and cap are included and are in excellent condition. Adapted from online sources: Phoenix Glass Co. and Consolidated Glass were separate companies at all stages however, Phoenix used molds from Consolidated in the 1930s when Consolidated closed down for a time. In 1936 the molds were returned to Consolidated. This item could be Phoenix or it could be Consolidated. Most likely Consolidated since Phoenix generally only used one color whereas Consolidated used two or more. Measures 12 1/2" tall with top and bottom fittings x 10" in diameter.
