Description: ANTIQUE old general store METAL TIN CEILING TILE CROWN MOLDING 48 3/4" LONG RECLAIM SALVAGE no 2. Offered here is authentic tin crown moulding from a turn-of-the century (early 1900s) general store from a small town in Mendon, Michigan. This piece shown measures 58 1/4” x 9” straight across but it is characterized as 6” crown molding as it has a curve as shown in the 10th photo. It is great used as a display piece with MAGNETS attaching items! Think photos displayed for graduation parties, weddings, or home collections held in place with magnets that, of course, stick to the tin—OR how about making a shelf? The last three photographs show how the molding can be made into a shelves— but these shelves are not part of the sale as the listing is for the crown molding only. Display ideas shown with photos attached using magnets to attach to the tin— making these great fir all kinds of presentations. There are several more of this design as well as a few other patterns that are all of this size. Please see my other listing for a larger piece of tin that is wonderful for display as well!! Each piece is unique as they have taken on their own aged patina. I have other listings from my 40+ years of collecting and post as time allows. Tin No 2
