Description: antique porcelain dinner plate in the floral "cyrano" pattern from noritake. made in japan. this discontinued pattern was manufactured starting around 1921. the "cyrano" pattern is characterized by a blue (i think it kind of looks like scales) band on the outer edge and verge on a pale yellow larger band that continues all the way into the center of the plate. along the rim, are colorful flowers in urns in five different spots finished with a thin gold line on the outer edge at at the end of the yellow band. i did notice small smudges in the gold paint along the outer edge. i actually felt them before i saw them. please be sure to scope out my last pics and judge for yourself. i have taken a bunch of pictures to help give you an accurate idea of the condition. please, please, please look at them and enlarge them. i always try to highlight any flaws with the pictures. they are, by far, the most important part of my ad. please allow for color variations from screen to screen. let's keep it real, colors do vary from device to device. your item has been shipped with shipping insurance. accidents do sometimes happen. if it does arrive damaged or broken, please contact me and we will work through the insurance claim process together. please be sure to include clear pictures of the damage. evidence of damage is needed to make an insurance claim. this item is a true antique item. antique items from my shop are at least 100 years old at the minimum. please expect that this item has been used and loved for at least 100 years. it will have the usual wear, dings and a the "petina" that comes with items that have been used for at least 100 years. if you are expecting an item in "brand new" condition, this item may not be for you.
