Description: A RARE HTF antique J. Oswald Owl “eye rolling” 30hr wind up clock. This owl is perched on a book. Measures 7” height, 3.50” wide, 4” deep. Eyes are the clock face with the hours on the left and minutes on the right. He is marked on the back Ges, Gesch, Germany and Germany marked on the owls foot. He has a couple light scratches as pictured with one on his ear. Also a chip of wood missing on the bottom of his tail. You are not able to see it unless you flip him over and it’s on his back side. Could use a detail cleaning. 🔴🔴🔴🔴PLEASE READ🔴🔴🔴🔴 **** He does wind up and tick. I noticed he slows on the ticking when standing upright but when I lay him on his back he starts working stronger. Not sure if he just needs minor adjusting or if I’m doing something wrong? I’m not a clock expert and I didn’t want to cause any damage so I left it alone. The first test he worked just fine. The 2nd test he started to slow while standing. Again when I lay him on his back he works just fine. The selling price I’m asking will reflect the issue. This item is non refundable so PLEASE message me with any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them. You may know the trick to an easy fix and we can test together. I’m just scared to touch it since it’s so old and hard to find.
