Description: Antique 13" Hertel Schwab 151 mold German Bisque Character Baby Doll. Cute little baby girl doll well over 100 years old. Doll in wonderful condition for its age. Arms were recently restrung; Stringing is tight and can hold a pose. Lovely bisque head is in great condition with lovely blue inset eyes and painted eye lashes, open mouth with two teeth with dimples and nice rosy complexion. Composition body is in good condition, but color looks faded some. Right hand has finger chip. Baby doll dressed as found in a nice antique gown, knit sweater with matching bonnet, booties, slip, diaper (stained) needs TLC cleaning, socks. Bent knee baby is jointed at the hips, shoulders, and swivel head. Brush stroke hair (little bubble dot) top of head looks like manufacturing made. See pictures. Back of head is marked "151".
