Description: Item up for sale is a magnificent antique metal vehicle tag / license plate made to promote the Herbert Hoover Presidential Campaign sometime around 1928. This piece shows paint and finish wear with patina and soiling on both sides consistent with age and use throughout. Tag shows areas of surface rust where paint has worn with the right hand side showing the most notable example. Metal shows some bending from use and display.
