Description: Nice antique hat in nice shape for its age. Exterior shows some wear and tear at the brim, but overall nice and sturdy. Appears to have no sweatband, but original paper tags are still attached. The Hawes von Gal label says size 7 with other handwritten numbers on the tag. The other label says made by United Hatters Union. It appears the company partnered or reorganized around 1903 gaining the “von Gal” and went bankrupt around 1913. Please see pictures for details.
