Description: Antique c.1850 hand-stitched White Coverlet/Quilt measuring 82in X 72in. Purchased this intricately stitched Coverlet at Garths Auction house in Delaware, Ohio in 2002 for a three-quarter Antique Cannonball bed we have and it displayed marvelously! Please view photos for condition and thread patterns. As with all these early pieces, it was made in sections then assembled to complete the bigger project. Some light fraying around one of the edges but obviously still serviceable with no holes, dry rot or tears. The quilt has been professionally cleaned recently (dry cleaners).
