Antique Hand Colored Botanical Prints by Samuel Curtis Framed Matted Dated 1822

Description: The size is unknown on these two framed prints. The exposed area is approximately 8 1/2 x 9. They were hand colored by Samuel Curtis. A Google search will provide considerable information about Mr. Curtis. They are dated 1822. The frames appear to be antique, however, there are some issues on the prints so they were not framed in new condition. The frames are 18 x 20. There is a tear in the upper left corner on one. There is a brown, what appears as a fold line on the other. A few areas with light discoloration. I believe they have all been shown in the photos. Also as shown, there is discoloration on both of the mattes. Upon payment, I would be willing to remove from frames and ship the prints only but only reluctantly. The prints are over 100 years old and may be a bit fragile. We do our best to describe items correctly. If there are errors in the descriptions, they are unintentional and not meant to deceive.
