Description: Awesome, HARD to find 'travel/tabletop' gramophone. It needs fixing up and does NOT currently play records. It does wind up and the table will spin but the arm seems to sit too heavily on it causing it to slow and then stop. If the arm is lifted off, it will spin again. I tried to see if I could fix it myself, but I simply don't have enough knowledge and I am too afraid to cause further problems with it, but it DOES seem to want to work. It came with a few extra screws and springs, so perhaps it's previous owner had the same idea of fixing/cleaning it and wound up not being able to put it back together properly. There are no emblems or makers marks so I do not know who manufactured this piece. It's in pretty nice shape with a few knicks and scratches to the wood, underneath the turn table, the wood is slightly warped. There's also someone's name carved onto one side (all shown in pictures). This is truly remarkable and authentic piece, with the right care and knowledge, I believe it can be restored to it's former glory. *SOLD AS IS*
