Description: Antique Thomas Harper, England, sterling silver pendant necklace. The shield pendant is fully hallmarked: Birmingham, Sterling Silver, Thomas Harper's 2nd registered maker's mark (1806) and a date mark that we believe is 1824. We have added a new Italy 925 box chain. The pendant is beautifully engraved, with an area suitable for adding initials. It measures about 1-3/4" long, including bail, 1-3/8" wide. The box chain when unhooked and measured end to end is approx. 16" long, 1.5 mm square and secured with a spring ring clasp. This Georgian pendant has acquired numerous scratches over the last 200 years, which add to the beauty and authenticity of this piece of history. We will wrap securely and mail it in a shipping box.
