Description: Fantastic French porcelain and bronze urn, Imperial size, from the Sevres manufacture, second half of the 19th century. The body of the vase is ivory white with pale pink stripes. With two hand-painted medallions, the front one with a romantic scene, and the back one with a landscape. The scene is signed "Pater". Lobed bronze lugs. Rectangular base of the same material. Removable lid that reveals the manufacturing brand. The base, covered with the original wood. Rotatable on its base. Although the mark would indicate the second half of the 18th century as the date of manufacture, I do not think it is that old, but rather from the middle of the 19th century. Measurement: About 38 inches high x 15.5 inches between handles x 12 inches diameter. In very good antique condition, no issues detected. Only the internal hardware has been replaced.
