It is signed Joseph Cheret with E. Solbar, Paris foundry mark, with the figure resting on an associated gilt bronze basket form vase, raised on a circular marble plinth. Overall, the piece measures 17.5" tall, and the basket is about 8" in diameter. The piece was likely cast in the 1880s. The piece is in excellent condition, free of dents, dings, or missing elements, with the exception of a replacement screw that has been added to the back.
