Description: Description This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side.It is made of cherry and is unpainted. The center section is recessed, backed with a beveled mirror with a washstand below. There are 4 drawers below the wash stand. To either side are the doors to access the closet areas. Each door has a beveled mirror in the middle with raised panels above and below, upper panels have carved festoons. There is a drawer below each door. The 4 legs have fluting with flat sawn embellishments and carved flowers at the tops The crown molding along the top has wonderful carving and is trimmed in reel and bead molding. All the ornate drawer pulls are present but one is missing its handle. The original label is on the back, made by Kammerer in Philadelphia in 189? Magnificent piece. It measures 115.25 inches wide, 92.25 tall and is 20.5 deep. It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck. This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides.Overall it is in good condition. There are misc scratches and dings as it is antique. Most of the hinge pins are missing. There are a few small missing or cracked pieces. There is a chip to one of the carved flowers and part of it is missing. The table top was covered in tile in the 70's, I removed the tile but not the glue. The mirrors have some foxing and flaking. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 62311 Shipping We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes. Payment Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance. Terms of Sale I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
