Description: Antique 1851 patent H.W. Hayden's brass bucket kettle marked on the bottom H.W. Hayden's patent December 16th, 1851, manufactured the Ansonia Brass Company from Ansonia Connecticut Measures 13 and 1/4 in in diameter and 9 in high and weighs about 4 lb. The handle is made of forged iron. The bottom of the bucket is concaved a little bit otherwise the condition is very good no cracks no major flaws on the brass or handle. The bucket is in excellent condition and the brass retains a great looking patina. Overall this is a great looking kettle!
