Antique Blue Universal Household Kitchen Scale 20 Lb, Landers Frary & Clark

Description: Very cool looking antique Universal Household Scale by Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, Connecticut, USA. The scale can weigh objects up to 20 pounds. There is a knob on top to zero the scale. I tested the scale by weighing a Pyrex casserole dish. The scale gave the same reading as my digital scale. The face is beige with black tick marks and green numbers. The metal body is a beautiful deep blue color. The paint is mostly intact, but has enough rust and scuffs to give it a great vintage patina. This scale could be used functionally, but would also make an awesome display stand in a vignette with other antique items. Measures 8-1/4" high x 6"wide x 9" deep. The face is 5-3/4" in diameter. The weighing platform is 5 1/2” square. Weighs 3 pounds 6 ounces. UHS LFC C099D06
