Description: This beautiful Antique Chinese rice storage barrel has a red lacquer with gold and black design (or at least what I believe to be lacquer). I think the Hand Painted figures on the both the bottom of the round container and on its lid are baby buddhas and trees. It is a light wood construction with a sewn seam. It could be used as a hat box or storage container. This is coming out of an estate of a woman who traveled to Asian countries often and brought back treasures that she found at antique stores along the way. There is no signature or manufacturer Mark anywhere on this container. Container weighs just a few pounds and stands 14” tall x 12” wide with the lid on it. It does have some minor chipping at edge, but overall container is in very good condition and lid does fit properly and tight Please note If shipping comes in less than what eBay is charging you, I will refund the difference once the shipping label has been generated.
