Description: This is a Dug Bottle recovered from the Lowell, Massachusetts area.VERY CLEAN and CLEAR. Aqua. Likely from the later 1800’s. Sharply embossed with “Dr. Cumming's Vegetine” on the face. This cure was known as “the Indian remedy” which was considered a blood purifier that would prevent diseases.Specialized cleaning appears to have done as it is so CLEAR and CLEAN on the inside as well as outside. Applied top. Nice bubbling here and there. 3 1/2” x 9 1/2”. Weighs 1 lb 5 oz. A few minor flea bites, ie., not perfect (which is understandable coming from a dig site). This bottle was given to me decades ago from a bottle collector.
