Description: Antique 1930's Sangamo Electric Meter Type HC Kilowatt Watthour Meter!. It's in fairly decent shape for its age and has definitely seen better days. The only missing piece on it is the cover for the terminals. It has “S.C EDISON CO” on the meter’s plate. Unsure if it is functional, was told it came from around LA from an electrician’s collection. It paint on it and as-is from when it was pulled out of service and would be a good piece to add to any meter collection. I think it looks better in this authentic condition rather than being cleaned up. Wingnuts on the front can be unscrewed to remove glass on meter. Please look at the pictures closely and if you have any questions feel free to contact me. Unknown if meter works or is funcfional, if you intend on having it converted into a lamp please have it checked out by a Certified Electrician beforehand. Willing to consider reasonable offers.
