Description: This plate has been offered for sale as part of an Estate Downsizing effort. It is a beautiful decorative plate, produced between 1891 and 1906, according to the Makers Mark on the back. There is a handwritten date of 1903 as well, but I am unsure of what the date means. Perhaps purchased in 1903 or earlier and gifted in 1903? The pictures do not do this plate justice! The plate has been painted in a very soft green, then over the green are soft pink Dog Rose Flowers, with brown branches and leaves of various shades of green. The plate is trimmed in Gold paint. Measures 7 3/4" across Condition: Very minimal wear to the gold trim. The painted surface has no scratches to the design. No chips or cracks. This piece was inherited and is now being sold due to downsizing the estate. All proceeds from downsizing will go towards funding for the local food pantry endowment.
