This dictionary is the 1849 copy of a dictionary which was originally compiled in 1834. Published by George W. Mentz & Sons in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Book is signed in ink by what is assumed to be one of its first owners, and signed in pencil by a later owner who either attended or taught at Duke University. Leather has ripped on the spine and could use repair. Book is in overall decent shape for its age but it is still delicate. Weighs about 2:14lbs. Printed in U.S.A. Sold as-is.
