The cameo is in excellent condition - no defects to note. The setting is very nice - there are quite a few shadows on the setting in the photos - there are a few age related dings etc. (see the last photo). I believe the scene depicts Triton being ridden by a Nereid, but these cameos are often open to interpretation. The setting is marked 14k. The setting measures 1 3/4" (44 mm) x 1 7/16" (37 mm) x 7/16" (11 mm) not including the straight pin - the cameo measures 1 9/16" (40 mm) x 1 3/16" (31 mm) . The total weight of the cameo and setting is 15.3 grams. It will come in a gold-foil gift box. Please see all of the photos.
