Description: One of a kind sculpture made entirely out of aluminum and mounted on a solid oak base. Nature and ants created the mold and I made the sculpture from that mold. I melted aluminum and poured it down into the fire ant bed, dug it up, cleaned out the dirt and this amazing piece of art is C what was created. This particular sculpture was made from two ant beds that was side by side and connected in between the two. The two beds did separate when I dug them up but I did melt them back together so there is repair in between the two beds.(see pictures) This sculpture is made of approximately 4.5 pounds of aluminum and is mounted on a 8.5 x 13 piece of stained oak wood.
