Description: Offered here is a clown figure from the ANRI Toriart collection. I'm not certain exactly when the clowns were introduced, but I have a 1985 ANRI catalog showing them. They were made in Italy and issued in the U.S. through the Schmid Company, which is no longer in business. This figure is about 3 1/4" high. He is called "Balloon Man" and is holding a red and white balloon by a string. He's dressed in yellow and holding a black hat in his right hand. I have other clowns listed separately. Pre-owned in very nice condition. I do not have the original box. Toriart pieces are molded using a synthetic resin material and are hand finished and painted. Each piece is created from a hand-carved wood model. This method was introduced by ANRI in 1957. Paypal payment is due upon completion of the auction. Note that I do not ship outside the continental United States. Don't hesitate to ask questions -- I am willing to combine shipment whenever reasonable. If you have concerns, please see my feedback. I've been selling on eBay since 2000.
