Externally- BOOK IS IN VERY GOOD /excellent [for its age] CONDITION all around. Minimal wear to the leather -zoom in on back cover - it does have some wear -mostly towards the top, I think it looks a bit worse in my picture/ very bright gilt page edges, and beautiful marbled end papers. Covers are very secure- some wear to the joints, but only a very small spit [ about 1/3rd of an inch] top front. Some loss to the gilt on the spine, and the spine is a bit dry, mostly towards the top - some leather conditioner should help. Internally- inner hinges very good. Textblock is holding but lightly cracked twice. The pages are all good and clean with minimal spotting -saw 1 spot and 10 pages of flower shadows [so 5 slots -pictured the worse one by far] . No rips and only 1 wee-tip fold. Says "from Frankie, Dec, 26th 1882" on the ffep -no other writing. excellent + for age -doesn't look like it's been read but a few times! #0035-A6 --- SHIPPING & REFUND INFO BELOW THE PICTURES the following images are from ARCHIVE.ORG'S BOOKand are only a small portion of the illustrations in this book please Add me to your Favorites list AND check back now and then to see what's new!
