Description: Offered is this vintage magazine, "Shopping at Liberty American at Home in Munchen", dated November, 1956-November, 1957. The magazine appears to be geared towards the American soldiers and families stationed in the Munchen (Munich) area and contains information about the city and surrounding area as well as dozens of ads for goods and services of all types (see photos-note especially the Volkswagen, Porsche and Coke ads). From the text it appears that this was the first edition of this magazine, with another planned for September, 1958. This is apparently a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find another copy of this magazine of any date for sale on eBay or anywhere else. The magazine is approx. 11 7/8" x 8 3/8" and contains 32 pages. It is in good condition. The cover has some wear and soiling, with a few tears along the edges, but is well-connected to the pages. The pages are yellowed and have some dogears but are clear and easy to read. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions. I will do my best to answer them! Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
