Description: In the third instalment in the American Tail series sees Fievel and his friends Tony and Tiger discover a map with the promise of a great treasure. It is a time of great inequality in New York, with the ruthless factory bosses driving their impoverished, desperate workers into the ground as they scrape by to make ends meet, many wondering where the American Dream has gone. One of these suffering families are the Mousekewitzs, who are desperate for the relief that any treasure could bring. Fievel, joined by his freind Tony, as well as archeologist Dr. Dithering, follow the map under the City of New York, and discover a lost tribe of Native mice who fled from Europe's wrath centuries ago! The tribe's chief's daughter, cholena, quickly befriends Fievel and Tony. Her father tells his daughter to join Fievel and Tony on their on their return trip to see if the European mice have learned tolerance. But when the worker bosses find out about the lost tribe, they decide to distract their workers from their own abuses by uniting them against the underground mice with a tale of invasion from below!
