The American Pharmaceutical Association is now known as the American Pharmacists Association.The back of the pin has the Whitehead & Hoag logo WH&CO. This small badge pin features one of the society's early shield design emblem logo..The pin is highlighted by shades of white and blue enamel.It states: AphA (American Pharmaceutical Association). If there is a hole for the screw back post this pin could be used as a lapel pin, hat cap badge, vest pin or displayed. This little pin is approximately 3/8 of an inch across at the widest points.
