If shipped in late winter/early spring is may be dormant and have no leaves. It may also be shipped bare root. It can be planted in a pot to start or outside any time the ground is not frozen. Note: these Persimmon trees are from seed and not a specific cultivation or variety. As such they are wonderful in every way including attaction of deer and other wildlife, but while they will be edible by humans but they are not garenteed to be of a great taste for humans.
