African Violet plant Hunter's Melon Melts (SM)

Description: African Violet plant: Hunter's Melon Melts (K. Muzalewski) Semidouble pink pansy, white/green edge. Green, slightly scalloped foliage. Semiminiature I am a long-time member of the African Violet Society of America (AVSA). In April 2024, I began selling as a commercial member at the annual convention of AVSA in Tempe, Arizona and was quite happy to have sold all the plants I brought. I am licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture and my plants are regularly inspected for pests and diseases (my plants were inspected in April to provide a phytosanitary certificate for travel to Arizona). My goal is to provide happy, healthy African Violets at reasonable prices. I will be offering a good selection of standard, semi-miniature and miniature violets, as well as some trailing varieties. I may occasionally have chimeras available as well. Many of these plants may be hard to find, unique and unusual. I start my plants from leaves and some of the varieties I will be selling were hybridized by: Buckeye, Hunter's, Lyon's, Pittman, Rivermist and more, as well as Ukrainian and Russian hybridizers. I will be adding additional plants for sale as time permits, so please check back frequently to see if there is a plant that is "calling to you." If you add plants by Sunday morning, I may be able to give you a credit for shipping so that you don't have to pay the full shipping charge of $12.00 again, depending on whether the added items fit into the same box with the original order. The photos I post are of my own plants and are representative of the plant you will receive. These are planted in 2 to 3 inch pots, may not be in bloom at the time of shipping, and may sometimes have leaves removed from the bottom row to fit into the shipping box. Shipping is by USPS Priority Mail. Shipping charge is $12.00 for one plant. If buying more than one plant, a charge of $1.00 will be added for each additional plant that will fit into the same box. If I need to start a second box, it would be a new charge of $12.00. In order to receive the combined shipping discount, please "add to cart" for each item you wish to purchase. Once you have added all the items you are buying, look for the tab that says "request total from seller." Please do not pay until you have received the invoice showing the correct shipping charges. If payment is not received within 3 days, your order will be cancelled. I will be shipping plants on Monday or Tuesday after payment is received. I may use fiberglass insulation for temperature protection of the plants (plants may suffer damage if temperatures are below 40 or above 90 degrees Fahrenheit). If you object to this, please do not buy the plants. I will pack the plants carefully, however, a few broken leaves may be caused by shipping, which is out of my control and I cannot consider this as damage. If there are problems relating to shipping such as length of time for arrival, severe damage to the box, etc., please contact the USPS. If there are other problems, please contact me and I will try to resolve the issue. I DO NOT OFFER SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES.
