Description: Beautifully hand-carved Galoa mask. African face mask used by the Galoa tribe living in Gabon. The Galoas (or Galwas) are Gabonese people living on the bottom of the Ogooué. Their masks are usually flat, oval, and painted in black, red, blue, and white. This mask has a nice round bowl shape which makes it remarkable, it's also quite big. Sold with display stand. The dimension is 12 inch high and 8 inches wide but with the display, the stand is 15 inches high.
