Description: For sale today we have this superb stoneware vase by George Tinworth for Doulton Lambeth. A striking piece with Persian inspired handles that I've not seen before. This vase features a delicately executed version of Tinworth's "scrolling seaweed" design to the main body and neck, deeply incised and adorned with applied rosettes and beadwork borders. While the base features a soft leaf design picked out in beadwork. Scroll handles complete the vase. Stands at 18 cm tall x 11 cm across. Stamped Doulton Lambeth mark with the date 1880. Incised GT mark to the body, with assistant Fannie Clark shown. A wonderful vase presented for sale in excellent condition. There was a tiny frit to the rim that has been taken care of professionally so as to be invisible. A great addition to your collection! Any questions, please ask?
