Description: Used fire hose for boat docks, hull protection, boat trailer replacement bunk covering, trailer guides, chaffing protection, ratchet strap protection, livestock fencing protection, etc.This hose can be used for almost anything. We also haul a lot of material and used it between the loaded material and our ratchet strapping. It is great chaffing protection for the strapping and offers great material protection. On the farm I wrap it around my stall post to keep the livestock from tearing it up. This might be a little overkill but it works. It also keeps my girls from getting splinters. This is used fire hose which was decommissioned and removed from service. This hose may contain nicks and scrapes, markings, stains or writings from the previous fire department owners. This auction is for yellow hose. This is a good, heavy duty hose with internal stitching for reinforcement. This hose was not used for any other purpose but fire department use. Hose was made of a rubber-based material. Being rubber-based compound, rain or water does not affect it. This particular hose is 8" wide. A sharp razor or utility knife can cut this hose length wise to give you almost 16" in width. Hose is approximately 5" round across. For the size of this section, it rolls and flexes fairly easy. Cutting both sides with give you 14' x 8" This is the last 7 feet of a roll I previously sold. The first 6 photos are of the actual hose. The last two photos are the hose I slid down overtop a 2"x6" post on my personal dock. I pay the shipping and use the most cost effective carrier.Please see photos for your own opinion.
