It remains the most detailed political, economic and military narrative of the era. Notes: I rated this SET in very good condition. Expect general aging and shelf wear; light usage wear. The dust jackets have some aging and occasional nicks. Of note, four volumes have tiny outside page edge stains. Also one volume has some spill stain and some cover edge fading (evidence of the stain does not extend past the table of contents; see last four photos.). Another volume has slight cover fade along edge. I flipped through the pages and found clean text: no underlining, no highlighting, no comments and no marks. Solid sewn binding.
