EMB, 1 luminescence Cross, Nice This is a nice group of 6 EASTER postcards showing CHILDREN, ANGELS, FLOWERS, CROSS, and other motifs for the Easter holiday. The postcards are colorful and attractive, and they are all nicely drawn. The postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. Four of these are EMBOSSED. They have interesting themes, which makes them pleasing to look at. They were published by different publishers. There is one that has a shiny luminescence cross and message, with white flowers in the background. Note that part of this add-on material has fallen off, but it is still a nice looking postcard. There is another postcard with two angels with their heads looking up and red flowers to the side. Another has an angel's head in the middle of a cross with white and yellow flowers around. There is one with two angels in the middle and a nice embossed cross around them. One shows a young Christ figure holding a lamb and horns below. And, the last shows a young Christ child in the middle of a wreath with flowers and ribbon all around. These postcards were nicely made, and they were probably all printed in Germany during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). Overall, this is a nice selection of antique Easter postcards. These are collector items because of their age, their interesting themes, and their appeal to Easter collectors. The postcards are both UNPOSTED (4) and POSTED (2) with cancel dates of 1914-1917. The postcards would have been published in the 1910-1915 era. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value. Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age.
