Fisher’s A-920 in the modern configuration is incredibly rare, with the console including the following modular tube components; chassis R-31S mono tube amplifier/tuner, chassis 30-A tube monoblock amplifier, chassis P-66 mono phono preamp amplifier, and Garrard model RC88/4 turntable. Outfitted with fantastic original AlNiCo Jensen P10R speakers. Undeniably quintessential mid-century styling combined with Fisher’s premium tube stereo setup, THIS is the Danish modern console to own. The cabinet is in very nice condition, however, the thin edge-banding has peeled and cracked free in several areas. Edge-banding is easy to replace. The woven cane grills are preserved in excellent shape. Stashed away in storage for decades, the open back has allowed significant dust to cover the interior components.
