Originating in Germany from one of the early "Steel Blue" strains, the Ocean Blue line started in 2016 when a single shrimp in the breeder's tank displayed an unusual dark blue shimmer. He selectively paired it with others from the same strain, gradually refining the line until the now-distinctive dark blue coloration emerged. The shrimp’s striking appearance resembles the deep blue of the ocean, inspiring its name. Over time, the pattern of the Ocean Blue Taitibee shrimp was established, featuring a blue bolt like head and a deep blue body. This shrimp represents the culmination of years of breeding effort, and even more exciting variations are on the way.. Once they are in your possessions, it is your responsibility:to make sure your water parameter is with my tank water parameter. I recommend having the water test kit ready at all times.to make sure to drip acclimate the shrimp fish into your tank correctly. I suggest drip acclimating for at least 1 hr before putting them in your tank.to make sure your water doesn't fluctuate too much during the day in their first 7 days.ShippingAll shrimp orders with USPS Priority Mail take 3-4 days to deliver to your door.If you want to pick up locally in Portland, that is an option.If you want to do Next Day Air, let me know and I can work with you on that.I only ship shrimp on Monday and Tuesday so that they don’t get stuck in a warehouse over the weekend.
